Our Pastor Victor Koshir

Pastor Victor Koshir was called to Grace Baptist Church in March of 2011 and started his ministry as Senior Pastor in April, 2011.  He was led to the Lord at Grace Baptist Church in 1979 by Pastor Floyd Bennett.  Sensing God’s call to full time service, he attended Bob Jones University from 1980 to 1985, graduating with a degree in Ministerial Training.  While at Bob Jones, Pastor Koshir has served as part-time youth director of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Anderson, SC from 1983 to 1985.  Pastor Koshir was ordained in 1986 by Fellowship Baptist Church in Fairmont, WV while he was serving as Youth Pastor and Bus Pastor from 1985 to 1987.  Prior to coming to Grace, Pastor Koshir served as the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Elkhorn, Wisconsin from 1987 to 2011.

Pastor Koshir describes his preferred method of preaching as expository, but once in a while will include topical and textual preaching as a variety.

Pastor Koshir was born and raised in the Greensburg, PA area.  He’s been married to his wife Jeannie since 1978 and has 3 grown children, Rachel, Jonathan and Rebekah.  In addition to his Pastoral duties, Pastor Koshir continues to pursue his lifelong love of motorcycles and trout fishing. He is also a self proclaimed, rabid Steelers fan.
